Then there's the installation. The 1st window of installation. There is nowhere to set the type of DB in that window. The next window is where I get stalled and it just has a verify button and a combo box where I can select mysql or postgresql. So, what am I missing here?
Am I following the wrong guide? The php group might however remove the mysql extension whenever they see suitable, so that's why the warning is given. As long as you don't update your php you'll be fine. Re: [spotweb] Installation issues in Windows Bericht door john3voltas » 08 sep , Hi Blauwbek. This error message only comes up with latest xampp xampp-win I have now reverted back to an older xampp xampp-win Can you please take this to the developer's attention? Thanks mate. Re: [spotweb] Installation issues in Windows Bericht door Blauwbek » 08 sep , It'd do that if it wasn't already done in the refactor rewrite of spotweb, which isnt ready for full usage yet.
The head developer has decided that the main version of spotweb will no longer be maintained and probably removed when this refactor is done.
Re: [spotweb] Installation issues in Windows Bericht door john3voltas » 08 sep , Oh! But isn't spotweb a new software? API's kijken doe je maar in de dierentuin! Bericht door john3voltas » 08 sep , Hya Well, I set that option to 7 a couple of hours ago it just seemed plausible but spotweb didn't care about it and it retrieved stuff from 3 years and 4 months ago I don't get it. Can you clarify that to me, please? Thanks in advance Cheers. Re: [spotweb]Retrieve only last 7 days of spots?
Bericht door Blauwbek » 08 sep , There is another option: retrieve spots after idk how what the english translation is. You can pick a date. That might do what you want? If it doesnt: you'll only retrieve the older spots once so I guess you'll have to live with it if thats the case.. Bericht door john3voltas » 08 sep , Thanks. I'll try that and post here the results. It's amazing how helpful this tool is and how small at least apparently it's English-speaking user base is. I'm not mocking and I'm not ranting.
I'm just genuinely surprised because I was expecting to see thousands of English-speaking users here. Bericht door Blauwbek » 08 sep , You're welcome Unfortunately a lot of users are dutch -speaking which causes a lot of the spots to be dutch, which makes it less accessible to the rest of the world. Glad you like it anyhow. Should you have PHP skills you can contribute to spotweb and help expanding it.
Bericht door john3voltas » 08 sep , I'm ok with Dutch spots. When we refer to Dutch spots we're usually talking about movies and in that case they are the same as English spots except they carry Dutch subs along with the English audio. Never seen any different Dutch spots so I honestly can't see any reason why people wouldn't like them.

Never seen any different Dutch spots so I honestly can't see any reason why people wouldn't like them. I accidentally deleted them yesterday and since I couldn't find them anywhere else I had to reinstall. I'm sure I'll find some more questions in the next few days. For instance, I still don't understand how I am supposed to spot anything. I've seen there is a spotting button on the top right-corner of the screen but how does it work?
Am I supposed to go down to binsearch. Too many questions, right? Never mind. Thanks a bunch. Bericht door Blauwbek » 08 sep , A few answers: - No, it doesnt run all the time actually. Just create a search query which can contain language, categories, etc.
Just click on the search bar and select use categories. I'd be happy to help you out but that would be kinda hard using only the forums. So kinda no When you found a useful NZB you can add it to spotweb using the add spot button. Rule of thumb is: just use all the fields, its required anyway.
